Confraternity of Christian Doctrine

CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) imparts the Catholic faith to our children and youth, and prepares them for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and holy Eucharist. Classes meet on Sundays from September through May.

Children and youth must enroll by early September. There are modest fees to help with books and materials. The children, along with their families, are expected to make a commitment to regular attendance of classes and of the Sunday liturgies. The teen confirmation group also helps with many of the parish activities. Both the First Communion and Confirmation programs require two-year commitments.

Our First Communion preparation is included as part of the regular CCD program for children in grades 1 through 6. Children must be enrolled in CCD for two years to receive their First Communion.
